3. Use of Funds
Donations received by La Paix Foundation are used to support our programs and operations in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, and in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Our general allocation targets are:
- Program Services (70%+): Direct program costs including teacher salaries, school meals, theological institute operations, and community center activities
- Administrative/Operations (≤20%): Organizational management, legal and accounting compliance, communications
- Fundraising (≤10%): Donor communications, website, and outreach
We strive to maximize the percentage of every dollar that reaches those we serve. Actual allocations may vary year to year and are reported in our annual financial disclosures.
Restricted gifts (donations given for a specific program or purpose) will be used for that designated purpose. If a restricted purpose cannot be fulfilled, donors will be contacted.
